Property Tax Roll Information

Beginning in November of 2023, Crescenta Valley Water District conducted a series of outreach efforts, including multiple Board meetings, town halls, workshops, and one-on-one discussions, to inform the community about the proposed capital charge rates and to gather public input.

On June 24, 2025, the District’s Board of Directors unanimously approved the updated capital charge rates. These charges are essential for replacing aging infrastructure, supporting emergency water supplies for fire protection and residential use, and ensuring a safe and reliable water system for the future.

Like other public benefits, including schools, parks, libraries, flood control, and vector control, this charge is proposed to be collected through the annual property tax roll received by property owners.

A public hearing will be held on July 22, 2025, at the District’s office located at 2700 Foothill Blvd, to consider placing the approved capital charge on the County property tax roll. A report listing each parcel receiving water service and the corresponding charge for fiscal year 2025–26 is available for review below or in printed form at the District office.

If you prefer to have the capital charge appear on your water utility bill instead of your property tax bill, please contact the District or complete the form linked below. Forms must be submitted by July 15, 2025.

Please note, if you submitted a form last year, it will remain in effect unless updated.  Customers who elected to have their capital charge on their water bill will not appear on the above-mentioned report.
