Thanks everyone for the great comments and perspectives. I agree its hard to choose and narrow them down to just 5. Communicative, Honest, Transparent, Empathic, Serving resonate with me. As far as Trust. I think that is a BIG question and something we need to work on. So much goes into that word and how it impacts us and how we manifest it. And I think it exists on a spectrum from no trust to some trust to lots of trust. We experience the same question in our lives away from work. Trust is a BIG word in our personal relationships too. And I ask myself, how do we address this in our lives away from work? Are there similarities? What can be applied here at work? There likely are some, right? Like trust comes from repetitive experience of honest communication and follow-through...hence "building trust". I think that is a cross-over that can be applied. I also thought about whether there are differences at work regards to the word trust. Perhaps the only nuance with "trust" and "work" is that it has our CVWD mission in mind. Similarly in the context of a relationship outside of work, say marriage., trust helps facilitate the "marriage", At work trust helps facilitate the "mission".

I think the 5 most important values to communicating are to be approachable , honest, transparent, empathic and flexible. To improve trust within our organization I think we need to build relationships with each other and have real conversations where we can share ideas and grow with each other.
