Water Main Break – Pennsylvania Avenue between El Caminito St and Stevens St.
A water main break occurred on Pennsylvania Ave at 4 am on 8/4/19 between El Caminito Street and Stevens St. CVWD and Glendale Water & Power crews have isolated the water main break and about 15 homes are without water. Also, the pavement was damaged on Pennsylvania Ave from El Caminito Street to Fairesta Ave.
The effected homes should be back in water by 5 pm tonight after the crews make the repair and the water line is tested.
Pennsylvania Ave is closed to traffic between El Caminito Street and Stevens St. as the crews work to repair the water main. The roadway maybe closed until tomorrow and may be reopened after the water main is repaired and the pavement inspected for safety.
