For Immediate Release, January 30, 2018:

Crescenta Valley Water District is installing a new nitrate removal treatment plant at the Ordunio reservoir site located at the corner of Honolulu Ave and Lowell Ave. This project is funded by a State Department of Water Resources, Proposition 84 Grant.

Part of the project includes installation of a new sewer lateral near the intersection of Honolulu Avenue and Lowell Avenue. The District’s contractor will begin construction on February 5, 2018 and is expected to be finished by February 16, 2018.

There will be temporary traffic delays for those traveling southbound on Lowell Avenue and westbound on Honolulu Avenue weekdays between 7:30 am and 4:30 pm. Traffic lanes will remain open on weekends.
