Water Conservation Rebates (updated August 4th 2015)
Effective July 6, 2015:
CVWD will no longer be administering the Turf Removal Program.
CVWD is no longer accepting or processing Turf Removal applications. The Turf Removal Program has been transferred back to Metropolitan Water District’s (MWD’s) regional program - SoCalWaterSmart.
Pending Turf Removal Applicants (updated July 14, 2015):
Pending Turf Removal applicants with approved Turf Removal projects were mailed letters on July 10, 2015 with information regarding changes to the Turf Removal Program. Please refer to this letter for details related to your project completion and post-inspection deadline.
CVWD’s additional $1/square foot rebate funding has been fully committed and CVWD will no longer be adding these additional funds to MWD’s rebate.
Please Note: Rebate funding is not retroactive. Funding is subject to final project approval. We acknowledge some subjectivity in the eligibility process and reserve all rights in making a final determination for approval or non-approval on a case-by-case basis.
New Turf Removal Applicants:
As of July 6, 2015, Turf Removal incentives are no longer being offered region-wide as funding through Metropolitan Water District of Southern California has been exhausted. A wait list has been created for those who wish to standby should funding become available on a future date. For further information, please go to:
