Notice of Vacancy

            Notice is hereby given that the position of Richard W. Atwater, a director of the Crescenta Valley Water District, will become vacant on or before February 28, 2010.

            The remaining members of the Board of Directors of the Crescenta Valley Water District intend to appoint a successor on or after their meeting on March 2, 2010, at 7:00 p.m., at the District office, located at 2700 Foothill Boulevard, La Crescenta, California. The successor will serve until the next District general election, which is scheduled to be held on November 8, 2011.

            Interested candidates must be voters residing within the District. In order to be considered for the position, a candidate should submit a letter of interest and a resume setting forth a brief summary of the person’s interest, qualifications and background.  Letters of interest and resumes should be personally delivered to Ron Mitchell, Secretary-Treasurer or received in the mail at the District address above by February 26, 2010.
